Case StudySharehubb

Applying enterprise-grade security to modern file sharing infrastructure.

Building a file-sharing platform is easy; making it impenetrable is hard. Sharehubb required a paranoid approach to infrastructure design, ensuring sensitive corporate assets remained completely isolated and secure.

Overview

A zero-trust architecture for enterprise file sharing.

Standard file-sharing tools often prioritize convenience over strict data isolation. For Sharehubb, the mandate was absolute security: a platform where corporate teams could exchange sensitive assets without the risk of unauthorized exposure.

My role involved architecting the underlying infrastructure, from secure cloud storage routing to the implementation of strict access control logic, ensuring high availability without compromising the security perimeter.

Tech Stack: Windows Server, IIS, Containerized microservices, Advanced Cryptography

Scope: Infrastructure Architecture, Security Auditing, Network Optimization

Security Posture

I approached Sharehubb with the same rigorous security protocols I've utilized over the last 18 years managing enterprise Windows Server and IIS environments.

The network topology restricts lateral movement, employing deep packet inspection and zero-trust authentication before any file byte is transmitted. Storage buckets are cryptographically isolated, meaning that even if a node were compromised, the underlying assets remain mathematically secure.

Outcome

  • Applied enterprise-grade Windows Server and IIS security principles to a modern, containerized application stack.
  • Engineered strict file-level encryption and access control logic to ensure zero unauthorized asset exposure.
  • Optimized network routing for high-availability upload/download streaming.
